This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do on oscabe.com. It applies to all Clients, Engineers, visitors and any other users of the Platform.
1. You must not use OSCABE to
- Engage in or facilitate any unlawful activity under UK, EU or any applicable law of the user's place of residence.
- Source candidates for weapons systems, surveillance of civilians, or any use prohibited by UK or EU sanctions / export controls.
- Process special category personal data (health, biometrics, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, political opinion, criminal records) without first obtaining a separate written authorisation from OSCABE.
- Harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against any other user on the basis of a protected characteristic.
- Submit false work records, fraudulent invoices or fabricated credentials.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a company.
- Bypass our Platform Fee by paying an Engineer (or accepting payment from a Client) outside the Platform during, or within twelve (12) months after, an Engagement introduced through OSCABE.
- Scrape, copy or republish Engineer profiles, ratings, AI matching outputs, blog content or any other Platform material without our written consent.
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, conduct denial-of-service attacks or otherwise compromise Platform security.
- Use the AI advisor to generate, encourage or evade compliance with any unlawful conduct or to attempt to manipulate the matching engine through prompt injection.
2. Content standards
Any content you post, send or upload through OSCABE (profile text, messages, attachments, project notes, timesheet comments) must:
- Be accurate and truthful where it states a fact.
- Not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy or confidentiality.
- Not contain hate speech, threats, sexually explicit material or content that promotes self-harm.
- Comply with the laws of England and Wales.
3. Reporting violations
Suspected violations should be reported to info@oscabe.com with the subject "AUP Report". Include the user, the conduct, and any evidence. We acknowledge reports within two business days and act on them within ten.
4. Consequences
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice:
- Remove content that violates this AUP.
- Suspend or close any account that violates this AUP.
- Cooperate with law-enforcement and regulators when required.
- Recover the Platform Fee that would have been payable for any Engagement procured in violation of clause 1.
5. Updates
We may update this AUP from time to time. The latest version and effective date are shown at the top of this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
